Review Date Title Rating Mini Series Series No. Comments
08/01/2022 The Ministry of Suits Book 1 Questionable 1
Jack and Trudy are recruited to the mysterious Ministry of Suits to deal with disappearing children, dangeorus pirates and other unusual creatures
Boy/girl relationship, Tznius and Negiah
There are some mild references to boy/girl relationships, some hugging but in an innocent fashion
Language
The author has a very sharp sense of humor, but sometimes throws in some bathroom humor, although not an overwhelming amount. Of course inappropriate and unnecessary but it seems to be the trend in books of this genre.
Violence
The heroes of the story battles creatures and pirates with some graphic descriptions of blood and gore.
07/25/2022 The Knight's Armor Generally Acceptable 3
Jack and Trudy, young members of the Ministry of Suits, battle Merlin, the wizard of King Arthur's Court, who wants to take over the world. Written with tongue-in-cheek humor, the book is basically "clean".
Boy/girl relationship, Tznius and Negiah
Minor references to boyfriend, girlfriend, but in a distant way
Language
Some bathroom humor - particularly pgs 262, 265, which have no bearing on the plot and can be removed
